When I was a kid about 6-9 I suffered from suicidal thoughts and tendencies etc. I spent most of my time trying to figure out why I was here and if life was worth actually living. I know that these were very deep and complex thought for such a small child but that who I was. Then my sister came in March of 1997. She was the most vulnerable and beautiful thing that I had ever seen. I had prayed for days for a baby sister, not telling anyone but God, and he answered my prayer. I looked into her chocolate brown eyes and knew that I had to be there for her. To show her how to tie her shoes, make our grandmother&#8217;s mac and cheese, and to be there for her through everything. I had a reason to live, a reason to exist. To this day, I don&#8217;t know where I would be. Chey, you have made my life worth living.
